Foster Grandparent Program—Call 913-557-3880. Subsidized program (income based) to assist as a teacher’s aid in a classroom setting.  Limited hours per week.  Located at

Louisburg Senior Citizen Center—Call 913-837-5113.  Daily, weekday meals served at the center or delivered to homes. Activities and entertainment offered, exercise classes, prescription drugs, transportation services, legal services, videos, games and etc. Located at

Osawatomie Senior Citizen Center—Call 913-755-4786.  Open Monday through Friday 8am—4pm.  Noon meals served daily.  Activities and entertainment offered along with speakers on health related issues, legal aid, bingo  and much more.  On-call Senior Transportation services are also available. Located at

Paola Senior Citizen Center—Call 913-294-4630.  Open Monday through Friday 9am-3pm.  Luncheon meals served daily.  Activities and classes available through the center include: exercise, ceramics, quilting, computer, prescription drug program, bible study, bingo, cards and birthday celebrations sponsored by the KSU Extension Service, Miami County. Transportation also available through Paola Wheels of Mercy at the above number. Located at

Travel Program for Seniors—First Option Bank, TeamBank and Peoples Bank all offer a travel program for seniors.  Deluxe travel accommodations are offered as groups at reduced tour group rates.  Each bank has different travel itinerary.
